Blue Environmental Ltd Health and Safety Policy
 
At Blue Environmental, we are committed to ensuring the health and safery of all our employees, customers, contractors and visitors.
By making sure that health and safety considerations are at the centre of everything we do, we strive to prevent accidents and illnesses.
We are commited to providing and maintaining a working environment that will help to meet this aim.
We encourage all who work at Blue Environmental to actively take part in, and to support, this policy.
 
Specifically, we will
 

  • Provide and maintain safe premises and healthy working environments

  • Effectively assess risks and apply measures to control them

  • Provide and maintain safe equipment and associated operating procedures

  • Identify substances potentially hazardous to health, and ensure arrangements are in place to control the risks they pose

  • Provide information, training, supervision and instruction to ensure everyone is able to carry out their work safely

  • Involve and consult employees on health and safety issues

  • Investigate incidents, accidents and work related illnessess to identify and put right any deficiencies in health and safety procedures

  • Have effective arrangements in place to deal with injuries, and mitigate the effects of any incidents that could result in injury, ill health or damage to the environment

  • Share information on health and safety issues, both inside and outside of our organisation

  • Monitor health and safety performance. Report on the performance at least once a year


The success of this policy, which we will review at least once a year, is reliant on everyone's involvement. We all have a valuable role to play in showing that good health and safety at work is good business.
