Blue Environmental Limited Environmental Policy

At Blue Environmental, we are committed to ensuring the protection of the environment.
By making sure that environmental considerations are at the centre of everything we do we strive to prevent harm.
We encourage all who work at Blue Environmental to actively take part in, and support this policy.

Specifically, we will

•    Operate our facilities to meet, and if possible, improve, upon legal environmental requirements.

•    Seek to move towards long-term principles of sustainability.

•    Include environmental issues within investment and business decisions.

•    Identify, where possible, re-use or recycling options.

•    Promote to customers re-use or recycling options.

•    Influence, by our purchasing power, suppliers to adopt responsible environmental policies.

•    Identify waste minimisation opportunities and, where possible, implement plans to achieve waste reduction both within the organisation and for clients.

•    Have effective arrangements in place to deal with incidents, and mitigate the effects of any incidents that could result in damage to the environment.

•    Share information on environmental issues, both in and outside our organisation.

•    Monitor environmental performance. Report on the performance at least once per year.

The success of this policy, which we will review at least once per year, is reliant on everyone’s involvement. We all have a valuable role to play in showing that good environmental management is good business.
